Ideal for acute and chronic cases, AmnioBand Particulate can be used in a variety of wounds: diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, vascular ulcers, traumatic wounds, and surgical wounds.
The cell-friendly matrix enables the wound to heal at the most basic of levels. After application of AmnioBand Particulate, cells adhere to the matrix and proliferate over time. The cells respond to the preserved biological components and stretch over the cell-friendly matrix. These interactions can facilitate long-term host tissue remodeling.
AmnioBand Particulate also facilitates bridging between individual particulate membranes via the connection of a newly synthesized matrix. By working with the body’s own cells, this cellular communication is the key to facilitating wound closure.
